British Guiana Government of British Guiana 5 Dollars 1.1.1942 Pick 14b PMG Uncirculated 62. This example boasts the popular toucan design with the Kaieteur Falls on the face. A curious piece, as the word "Specimen" has been crudely added vertically on both the front and the back. It also has two small vertical holes above King George VI's portrait. B/5 is the last prefix for this denomination, with the serial on this note being towards the end of the numerical run. Perhaps this was an issued example converted into a Specimen.
