Canada Government of Newfoundland $2 2.1.1920 NF-13d PMG Very Fine 25. A gorgeous and well preserved example, this piece was printed by the American Banknote Company out of Ottowa. Only two denominations, the $1 and $2 were issued in the 1920 series to deal with the shortage of silver coinage. A truly eye appealing piece, the note features vignettes of a mining scene on front and the ship and anchor scene flanking the official seal of Newfoundland on the back.
