Costa Rica Banco Mercantil de Costa Rica 10 Colones 25.3.1913 Pick S202a PMG Very Fine 20. Adorned with a bald eagle vignette on the front and an allegorical depiction of Commerce on the back, this 10 Colones note is quite attractive. Fewer than 50,000 were printed for series A, of which it is believed that only 25 notes have survived. Only 2,500 were printed for Series B, and the only known example is kept safely by the Central Bank of Costa Rica's Numismatic Museum.
