India Government of India, Bombay 50 Rupees ND (1930) Pick 9a Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 3.9.1A PMG Choice Very Fine 35 Net. In 1930, the India Security Press added a portrait series 50 Rupees to their line of Government notes. As is typical, this is a key denomination, with print totals much smaller than the 10 and 100 Rupees. Mild circulation and tasteful restoration are mentioned for accuracy. The overall eye appeal is quite good for the type. Notice the small "Bombay" city of issue stamp in the bottom margin of this desirable and rare type. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/india-government-of-india-bombay-50-rupees-nd-1930-pick-9a-jhunjhunwalla-razack-391a-pmg-choice-very-fine-35/a/4033-28262.s?type=DA-DMC-CoinArchivesCurrency-WorldPaperMoney-4033-10232021 HID08706262019 © 2020 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
