Saint Lucia Government of St. Lucia 10 Shillings 1.10.1920; ND (1920) Pick 2pp1; 2p2 Front Progressive Proof and Back Proof PMG Uncirculated 62 (2). There was only one issue of banknotes by Government of St. Lucia which occurred in 1920 and included only two denominations, the 5 shillings and 10 Shillings for which both are considered very rare. This pair of proofs is actually the only set representing Saint Lucia in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging. The front is a progressive proof as the additional colors and outer design were not added at this point in the production process, while the back proof represents the complete design. Both examples have printer's annotations.
