Serbia Chartered National Bank 100 Dinara (zlatu) 1884-85 Pick 8c Remainder PMG Very Fine 30. The Chartered National Bank (alternatively translated to: Privileged National Bank) was founded in 1884 and was based on the Banque National de Belgique in Brussels. This is the highest of three denominations of the first series, which was the first issued, and also happened to be printed in Belgium. The back design is based on an unadopted Belgian issue. This note is a remainder, as it lacks serial numbers and signatures. We have not offered this type before. This is only the second example offered in the last decade in a major, traceable auction. It is also the finest graded example in the PMG Population Report. Minor mounting remnants are mentioned for accuracy on this splendid and very rare banknote. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/serbia-chartered-national-bank-100-dinara-zlatu-1884-85-pick-8c-remainder-pmg-very-fine-30/a/4033-28466.s?type=DA-DMC-CoinArchivesCurrency-WorldPaperMoney-4033-10232021 HID08706262019 © 2020 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
