South Africa Port Elizabeth Bank 10 Pounds ND (c.1871) Pick S242p Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. This interesting uniface proof was prepared by Perkins Bacon & Petch of London. The bank operated in the Cape of Good Hope from 1846 until 1873, when it was purchased by the Oriental Bank Corporation. Some minor stains on both sides are mentioned in this mounted proof, which is now approximately 150 years old. All details are on full display.
