Q. Cassius Longinus. AR Denarius, 55 BC. Obv. Q. CASSIVS VEST. Veiled and draped bust of Libertas right. Rev. Temple of Vesta with curule chair inside; in left field, urn and in right field, tablet inscribed AC (Absolvo : Condemno). Cr. 428/1; B. 9. AR. 3.60 g. 19.50 mm. Sound metal. Lovely light iridescent tone, with underlying luster. Slightly ragged flan and minor weakness on high points of reverse, otherwise EF.
