Galba (68-69). AE Sestertius. Rome mint. Struck circa June-August AD 68. Obv. SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG. Laureate and draped bust right. Rev. ROMA (in exergue) SC. Roma, helmeted and draped, seated left on cuirass, holding vertical spear and resting on shield. RIC I (2nd ed.) 240. AE. 25.77 g. 36.00 mm. Scarce. A bold portrait of masterly style. Slightly rough surfaces, minor metal flaw on obverse and corrosions spots on reverse, otherwise Good VF.
