KM-8; Cal-type 128#625. Weight: 6.5 gms. A well detailed, dark toned, and broadly struck Cob with clear mintmark, assayer initial, and almost the entire king's name in the peripheral legend. Provenance from the wreck of Nuestra Senora de Atocha, which sank off of Florida in 1622. Sold with certificate from Mel Fisher's Treasures LLC, #85A-128377. The certificate states the assayer initial as 'not visible', though it is readily apparent on the coin.

Estimate: $300 - $500
