Obverse: PIVS VII P M HOSPES NEAPOLIONIS IMP, bust right, wearing miter, mantum, and stole; Reverse: IMPERATOR SACRATVS, exterior view of the cathedral from the north-northwest; in two lines in exergue, PARISIIS II DEC MDCCCIV / XI FRIM AN XIII. Edge: Plain. Red-brown surfaces, with a good deal of lustrous brilliance; a few light spots are noted on the obverse. A great architectural type.
