BHM-167. Diameter: 26mm. By J. Kirk. Obverse: Garlanded and collared bust right, wearing wig; Reverse: Legend and date in five lines. Edge: Plain. Deep brown and quite brilliant, with some underlying luster and hints of red accentuating the devices.

Part of a series of 13 medals all featuring the same general format and layout, this medal was issued for the magazine Sentimental and usually also included a select number of magazines themselves. Silver versions of the medals were awarded as prizes to correspondents who had contributed to previous issues.
