KM-47a. Arabic countermark applied to uncertain date Cob 8 Reales from Mexico City Mint. The countermark is strongly applied, with all detail visible in the Arabic script; meanwhile, the cob shows some lightly scratched graffiti on unstruck areas. Some residue can also be witnessed in other areas. A fairly RARE and intriguing type.
