MEXICO. 8 Reales, 1733-Mo MF. Mexico City Mint. Philip V. ANACS VF Details--Cleaned.
KM-103; Gil-M-8-5; FC-3a; Cal-type-173#1439. Variety with small crown, normal mintmark, and dot above assayers' initials. An evenly worn example of the type, free of overly distracting marks and unimpeded by obvious hairlines. The surfaces are toned a medium to dark gray, with the shield side a shade darker. Though this is the more common "MF" assayer type, the date is still very popular and invariably sought after whenever it appears in auction.
Estimate: $800 - $1200
