MEXICO. Mint Error -- Struck on Copper-Nickel-Zinc Planchet -- 20 Pesos, "2019" (2021)-Mo. Mexico City Mint. PCGS MS-65.
Centennial of Emilio Zapata Salazar's death commemorative (dated 2019, minted 2021). Missing its outer aluminum-bronze ring, this error was struck exclusively with a Copper-Nickel-Zinc center that partially filled the striking chamber. As a result, much detail is missing from the flan and devices are weakly struck. An interesting modern error with spectacular Gem eye appeal.
