Diameter: 28 mm; Weight: 13.3 gms. Grove-85a; Fonrobert-6645. Obverse: Liberty enthroned facing right, holding spear and constitution; Reverse: JURA DE LA / CONSTITUTION / MEXICANA / EN 1843 within wreath. Bright and lustrous with attractive amber, azure, russet, and violet gray cabinet toning. Handling is very difficult to spot, and it is clear this medal was saved early after striking by a collector.
