Rim inscribed 'SILVER' and '1920'. The earliest dated Nobel Medal we've seen, with the date inscribed on the rim. Obverse: Bust of Nobel left; Reverse: INVENTAS VITAM IUVAT EXCOLUISSE PER ARTES (and they who bettered life on earth by their newly found mastery), basin and serpent-entwined staff of Aeculapius; wreath behind. A flashy and bright Medal with argent surfaces and a few light marks on the reverse high points.
