Obverse: INAUGURACION DEL FERRO-CARRIL / ANDINO, locomotive approaching right; mountains in background; Reverse: EXPOSICION INTERPROVINCIAL / MENDOZA 1885, provincial coats-of-arms of Mendoza and Buenos Aires, all set upon floral scroll and with radiant personification of the sun above. Edge: Plain. Deep brown surfaces, with a slightly glossy nature and just a hint of light rub upon the high points.
