A charming fairly SCARCE piece of medallic art, this specimen presents brown-bronze surfaces with just a few light spots. Compare to a similar example that realized over $200 in February 2006.

Born in the Duchy of Warsaw, Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin (1810-1849) was a leading composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic era. Though suffering an early death before his 40th birthday, he was renowned for his compositions and nuanced piano ability, as well as his tempestuous love life.
