C•PISO•L•F•FRV[G] Naked horseman galloping right, holding reins in his right hand and palm frond over his left shoulder; above, M. Babelon (Calpurnia) 24. Crawford 408/1a. Hersh, Piso, 17 (O6/R1002). RBW 1468 var. (differing control marks). Sydenham 850a. A nicely toned example with a head of Apollo of particularly fine style. Faint scratch on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
