Quietus, usurper, 260-261. Antoninianus (Billon, 21 mm, 4.27 g, 6 h), Samosata. IMP C FVL QVIETVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Quietus to right, seen from behind. Rev. SOL INVICTO Sol, radiate, standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left; in field to left, star. Cohen 12. MIR pl. 125, 1741n (this coin). RIC 12. An attractive example with an unusually sharp portrait. Somewhat porous and the reverse a bit weak, otherwise, about extremely fine.
