Divus Romulus, died 309. Follis (Silvered bronze, 25 mm, 6.72 g, 5 h), Rome, 311-312. DIVO ROMVLO N V BIS CONS Bare head of Divus Romulus to right. Rev. AETERNAE - MEMORIAE / REP Domed shrine with open door surmounted by eagle standing right, wings spread and head to left. Drost 171. RIC 257. A lovely example with attractive surfaces and a fine portrait. Minor uncleaned deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
