CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 9.24 g, 10 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple-pendant earring and elaborate necklace. Rev. Horse standing right; to lower right, three pellets. Jenkins & Lewis Group IIIf, 45-47. MAA 4. A lovely piece struck on a very broad flan. Extremely fine.
