CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 370-355 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.58 g, 7 h). Head of a young satyr with animal ears to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΠΑΝTI Lion standing right, head reverted to left, raising his left forepaw; all within shallow circular incuse. HGC 7, 68. MacDonald 45. SNG BM Black Sea -. SNG Stancomb -. Very rare. Slightly porous and with a light scratch on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
