MYSIA. Cyzicus. Pseudo-autonomous issue. AE (Orichalcum, 17 mm, 2.78 g, 6 h), time of Commodus, circa 180-186. KYZIKOC Diademed head of the eponymous hero Kyzikos to right. Rev. KYZIKH-NΩN Youthful male triton to left on globe, holding fish in his right hand and rudder in his left. RPC IV.2 online 582.1 = SNG Paris 553 (same dies). Very rare. A beautiful coin with a wonderful dark green patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
