Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike in outstretched right hand crowning royal name, resting left arm on grounded shield decorated with lion head boss, transverse spear beyond; griffin head left in inner left field, ΠHY monogram in outer left field. Thompson -, cf. 70 (positions of griffin head / monogram reversed). Müller 126. Attractive obverse die, satin surfaces with some luster.
