IONIA. Heraclea ad Latmun. Ca. 150-142 BC. AR tetradrachm (31mm, 16.62 gm, 11h). NGC MS 4/5 - 4/5. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet, the bowl decorated with vine scroll, Pegasus above upturned cheek flap in the form of a horse head, foreparts of five horses above brow line / HPAKΛEΩTΩN, horizontal club; Nike walking left holding wreath below, between ΣΚΥ monogram on left and ΩΔPΝ monogram on right; all within oak wreath. Lavva group II B. SNG Lockett 2823. Slightly frosty, toned surfaces.
