Zog I gold Prova 20 Franga Ari 1927 MS61 PCGS, Rome mint, KM-Pr26, Mont-29 (R3), Pag-798 (R3). Mintage: 50. An extremely elusive Pattern issue, and the first such example we have seen, with our research revealing just one other in recent sales records, which brought 1900 Euros in 2012. Though light contact is perceptible with strong magnification, hardly any instances are singularly distracting, with the piece retaining a strong visual appeal for the grade. Although neither the Standard Catalog nor Pagani provides a mintage figure, Montenegro suggests only 50 were produced, this being one of only three examples certified in Mint State.
