A remarkably appealing representative of this notoriously attractive type, a marked degree of luster and originality throughout securing its Choice Mint State designation. Seemingly an incredibly challenging date, we have been able to locate just a single example coming to auction in the last two decades--a far inferior piece which brought approximately $3,200 in 2018--with the Deutsches Münzpreis- Jahrbuch adding 2 additional specimens, sold in 1999 and 2003, respectively.
