Struck to commemorate the Victorian engraver William Wyon, perhaps best known for his engraving on the 1839 5 Pounds, though similarly renowned for his "Three Graces" Pattern Crowns of George III from 1817. A highly collectible flawlessly certified example of the issue, graced with fully frosted devices, highly mirrored fields, and a consequently striking cameo contrast. Includes box of issue with COA #2425.
