Charles III 8 Reales 1764 Mo-MF MS63 PCGS, Mexico City mint, KM105, Cal-1087. Displaying razor-sharp device outlines to the obverse pillars, globes, and waves, these features set within glasslike fields that display variegated patina evolving from silvery in the centers to steel-gray in the intermediary regions and hints of salt-white tone in the outer extremities. As a conditionally challenging issue, locating a choice example thereof is no easy feat. Commensurate with this observation, we note that only a single MS64 certifies more highly, with the present grade thus representing an effective cap in terms of collector attainability.
