ATTICA, Athens. Circa 475-454 BC. Cut AR Tetradrachm Fragment (21mm, 9.77 g, 10h). Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, spread tail feathers; olive sprig and [crescent] to left; all within incuse square. Cf. Starr Groups IV–V; cf. HGC 4, 1595–6. Toned. VF. The neat edge of the owl suggests the coin was test cut prior to being halved.
