From Head: "A striking portrait of a Persian satrap, perhaps Tissaphernes, wearing the kyrbasia. The reverse indicates that the coin was struck by the authority of the Great King. It has been ascribed to the time when Tissaphernes was collecting his forces against Dercylidas in 395 at Iasus."
