Cuba (under Spain), brass medal, Amadeo I, 1872, inauguration of the Burriel aqueduct at Matanzas, by Crones. 38.73 grams; 40mm. Obverse with Neptune inside legend INAUGURACION DEL ACUEDUCTO BURRIEL / MATANZAS 16 MAYO 1872; reverse with crowned arms of Matanzas inside names in triple legend with AMADEO Io R. DE ESPA at bottom. Nice AU with original brass color and luster, just a few light marks and a faint rim-bruise, couple tiny spots of toning.
