Well-struck Mint State with much original color and luster, choice details and neatly toothed rims, in fact superior to the AC plate, this variety notable for a modern spelling of the city as CARTAGENA. XRF: 48.87% copper, 49.24% zinc, 1.45% lead. Pedigreed to the John Adams Collection (with his handwritten tag), the Fernando Chao Collection and the Jorge Ferrari Collection.
