Pennsylvania, 10 shillings, March 10, 1769, signed by Continental Congress secretary Charles Thomson, PMG VF 20 Net. Fr-PA-143. Charles Thomson was the sole secretary of the Continental Congress throughout its entire 15 years of existence. His name appears on the printed broadsides of the Declaration of Independence and he, along with William Barton, designed the Great Seal of the United States. His inked signature on this note appears above those of Samuel Rhoads, Jr. and Jacob Lewis. Circulated note with repairs and reconstruction done to the edges and center fold plus redrawing of the signatures as noted on the label.
