Attica, Athens, AR tetradrachm, 454-404 BC, "owl," mounted owl-side out in 14K gold bezel with fixed bail. 24.60 grams total. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Heavy gold setting surrounding silvery coin, some flan cracks well disguised by bezel.
