Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales Royal (galano), 1715 Y, NGC VF details / holed. S-P43a; KM-R31; Cal-1487. 28.20 grams. Broad flan for the period (and in fact slightly overweight), with nearly full legends and crowns as a result, good full inner details with only a little of the inevitable doubling, attractively toned, die-match with Lazaro #259 (R2), holed at top of pillars side. Pedigreed to the Jorge Ugaz collection (stated on label).
