Straits Settlements 1.1.1934 P-16a PMG Choice UNC 64 1 Dollar
The Straits Settlements portrait series of $1, $5, and $10 notes were printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company. The 1931 date is sometimes encountered, and the 1935 date circulated until after World War II, but it is the middle dates that are quite rare. This handsome 1934 emission is Uncirculated and as such is very rare, especially in this grade. A top notch note for the Colony and a handsome King George V portrait note.
