Obv: IMP CAES P SE - PT GETA AVG Bust laureate r., fold of cloak on front shoulder and behind neck. Rx: VIR - T - AVG - COL ANTIOCH around, S R in exergue, Emperor brandishing spear on horse charging r., below horse two enemies, one prostrate and the second, wearing Phrygian cap, kneeling l. and raising arms towards the emperor to beg for mercy. From a new die of this interesting reverse type, unknown to Krzyzanowska. The large bronzes of Geta at Antioch come from only four obverse dies, one as Caesar, the second as Augustus but still with youthful, unbearded portrait, and the two others, including the die of our coin, as Augustus but with bearded portrait..
