Struck 19-20th Century Copy: Lokris, Lokris Opuntii AR Stater. Circa 4th century BC. Head of Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace / Ajax, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, advancing to right, holding sword in right hand and shield decorated with serpent on left arm; OΠONTI[ΩN] to left; below, AIAΣ, spear and pilos type helmet between legs.
