SELJUQ OF RUM: Kaykhusraw II, 1236-1245, AR bilingual tram (2.86g), ND/DM, A-1221, somewhat crude calligraphy in both Arabic & Armenian, likely a local issue struck after the demise of the standard bilingual tram upon the death of Kaykhusraw II early in AH644 and before the Qilij Arslan IV horseman dirham dated 646 or slightly later, EF, RR. Essentially the standard type issued by the Armenian ruler Hetoum I as vassal of Kaykhusraw II, minted only at Sis (now Kozan in Cilicia), but apparently an unofficial issue struck at an uncertain location, possibly a private jeweler in Sis itself.
