IONIA. Klazomenai. Circa 370-360 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 4.02 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Mandronax. Laureate head of Apollo facing, turned slightly to the left, wearing chlamys visible along the neckline. Rev. KΛ-[A] / MANΔΡΩNA[Ξ] Swan standing to left with open wings. Cf. BMC 26 (hemidrachm). SNG Lockett 2792. Traité II 1998. Rare, attractively toned, with a splendid head of Apollo and a well-centered swan, both of the finest Classical style. Some minor flatness on the reverse and a minor bang on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
