Pescennius Niger, 193-194. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 2.99 g, 11 h), Antioch. IMP CAES C PESC NIGER IVST AVG Laureate head of Pescennius Niger to right. Rev. FORTVNAE REDVCI Fortuna standing left, holding rudder on right hand and cornucopiae in left. Cf. BMC p. 76, || (legends). Cf. Cohen 26 (legends). Cf. RIC 24 (legends). Well-centered and with an attractive portrait of Niger. Light porosity and a few hairline scratches, otherwise, very fine.
