CARTHAGE. c. 290-270 BC. Stater (Electrum, 20 mm, 7.39 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing grain wreath, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace with eight pendants. Rev. Horse standing to right; on ground line to right, pellet; in field next to horse's left hind leg, two pellets. Jenkins & Lewis Group VI, cf. 326. Clear and attractive, well-centered and struck on a broad flan. About extremely fine.
