KHARIJITE: bronze fals (2.16g), AH 120s-130s. Kharijite slogan "la hukma illa lillah" ("there is no judgement except that of God") in obverse center. A-. Fine or better. Extremely rare or likely unique.
This does not seem to be a published type. The calligraphy style suggests that this piece was minted in the late Umayyad to early Abbasid era. Considering the style and coupled with the Kharijite slogan on the obverse, this likely suggests that this fals was minted by Kharijite rebels who appeared during the Abbasid revolution. Most of the inscriptions, other than the Kharijite slogan and the second part of the shahada on the reverse, has not been deciphered yet, and could possibly reveal the mint, date, and/or the name of the Kharijite commander who ordered the mintage of this piece. Important piece and likely a newly discovered type for this crucial period in Islamic history.
