Head of Athena to right, with archaic eye, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves, round earring with central boss, and pearl necklace / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent moon behind, ΑΘΕ before. Good Very Fine; attractively toned; banker's marks on obverse and reverse; good style, well-centered and well struck on a large flan with much of the crest and necklace showing. Very pleasing example of this issue.
