3 COINS. SCOTLAND. Charles I. 1625-1649. AR twelve shillings. 5.68 gm. 30 mm. Third coinage. 1637-1642. Briot's issue. The king's crowned bust left; CAROLVS D G MAG BRIT FRAN ET HIB REX, small B at the end of the legend / British arms; QVÆ DEVS CONIVNXIT NEMO SEPARET, small B at the end of the legend. S. 5558. Near Very Fine, however the portrait lacks some detail; there is a small dig at the "T" of BRIT on the obverse and another at the "I" of ...XIT on the reverse.
Also:
•AR half merk. 3.11 g. 23 mm. Crowned bust left; VI over 8 in field behind / Crowned arms. S. 5574. Fine+; portrait details minimal.
•AR six shillings. S. 5566. Heavily worn, lightly bent; legends mostly readable.
