Thrace, Kings of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.03 g), Alexandria Troas mint, issued 297/6-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, PU monogram to left, ME monogram in exergue, to right BASILEWS , to left LUSIMAXOU , (cf.S.6814, Bellinger A9 [p.79], Thompson 157, M.486). Toned, good very fine and very rare.
