Thessaly, Larissa, (400-360 B.C.), silver drachm (5.72 g), obv. naked youth restraining bull to left with dotted border, chlamys billowing out behind him, rev. horse prancing to right with long rein hanging, LAR above, IS AIA below, within incuse square, (S.2111, BCD 372.5 [Triton XV] for similar dies, Lorber, Thessalian 52, BCD Thessaly II 173-4, HGC 4, 420). Slightly rough surface on reverse otherwise very fine and very scarce.
